D-CALCIUM PANTOTHENATE
Introduce briefly
Calcium pantothenate is a kind of B vitamin and one of the essential nutrients for the normal growth of organisms. Calcium pantothenate exists in three forms because it has chiral carbon atoms: D L-body (hybrate), D-body (right-body) and L-body (left body). Only D-calcium pantothenate has biological activity, with a white or slightly yellow needle-shaped crystal or powder in appearance, and a melting point of 195~196 ℃ (decomposition), Soluble in water, methanol, glycerine, slightly soluble in ethanol and acetone, with hygroscopicity, slightly sweet, but slightly bitter. In terms of chemical stability, it is the most stable in aqueous solutions with a pH between 5 and 7. It is more stable in air and sunlight, and less stable in acids and alkalis.Introduce briefly Calcium pantothenate is a kind of B vitamin and one of the essential nutrients for the normal growth of organisms.

USE
It is mainly used in medicine, food and feed additives. It is a component of coenzyme A, which participates in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. It is an indispensable trace substance for the human body and animals to maintain normal physiological functions. More than 70% is used as feed additives.
It is clinically used to treat vitamin B deficiency, peripheral neuritis, and postoperative intestinal colic. Participate in the metabolism of protein, fat and sugar in the body.
